Frank Roger publiceert al sinds medio jaren zeventig in Nederlandstalige tijdschriften, fanzines en bloemlezingen zijn doorgaans korte verhalen in "het fantastische genre": sciencefiction, horror, fantastiek, magisch-realisme. Sinds de jaren tachtig schrijft hij ook in het Engels, of vertaalt zijn werk in het Frans.
